Dirndl-Meile

Dirndl-mile

The “Dirndl-mile” is a nice short walking tour in the centre of Frankenfels. It is 1.2 kilometers long and takes from the town hall and the fire station to the  promenade and to the hydro power plant at the Voralpenhof. The “Dirndl” is  the most famous fruit of the place. It is presented  on boards all over the walking tour. The “Dirndl” is a small red fruit and tastes like a sour cherry.
